Does it cost to use WiFi on Princess Cruises?
Hello! I’m Going On A Cruise through Princess Cruises soon aboard the Island Princess. I know the ship has an internet cafe and I have read that this company has WiFi access for those with laptops. I want to bring mine but I would like to know if you have to pay in order to access the internet. Some coffee cafes in my town require you to pay in order to use their service and I wasn’t sure if cruises worked the same way. Any information you can provide would be helpful. Thanks!
Princess Cruises
Internet & Wi-Fi: Princess Cruises’ pay-as-you-go rate is currently 75 cents per minute. There are also three plans you can choose from: 100 minutes for $55 (55 cents per minute), 150 minutes for $75 (50 cents per minute), and 250 minutes for $100 (40 cents per minute). Wireless hotspots are available in public areas (though not in cabins) on all ships. The Sun Princess, Dawn Princess and Regal Princess have new Internet cafes; the number of terminals ranges from 8 to 26 depending on the ship.
Fees & Equipment: The aforementioned 75 cents per minute. One perk of its top tier frequent cruiser program is that those folks get credit towards package use (this is a departure from its previous policy of outright free Internet for Platinum and Elite members). Guests with laptops without wireless network cards can purchase a “Windows XP” compatible card onboard.

Short Cruises (Illustrated Edition) (Dodo Press) $22.61 William Wymark Jacobs (18631943), was an English author of short stories and novels. He is now best remembered for his macabre tales The Monkeys Paw (1901) and The Toll House (in the collection of short stories The Lady of the Barge). However the majority of his output was humourous in tone. In 1879 he commenced work as a clerk in the civil service, in the Post Office Savings Bank, and by 1885 he had had his first short story published. His road to success was relatively slow. Jacobs short story output declined somewhat around the First World War, and his literary efforts between then and his death were predominantly adaptations of his own short stories for the stage. Amongst his works are Many Cargoes (1896), A Master of Craft (1900), Light Freights (1901), At Sunwich Port (1902), The Lady of the Barge and Other Stories (1902), Dialstone Lane (1904), Odd Craft (1904), and Short Cruises (1907).
