How do I get from Greece to Cyprus without flying?
I live in the UK and I need to get to Cyprus. I can’t fly as I’m a very nervous flyer, its out of the question for me. I can find my way from London to Patras or Piraeus Greece. Only problem is getting from Greece to Cyprus, everywhere I look there are no dates or scheduals for ferries going that way.. Anyone know of any or any other way of getting there. I would like to get there as fast as possible. Thanks for any help you can give.
Unfortunately, it’s no longer very easy getting from Greece to Cyprus by ferry. Both Poseidon and Salamis ferries from Piraeus have been suspended, and it is not even certain whether the summer service operated by Louis Cruise Lines, between June & September, will go ahead.
The alternatives seem to be either ferry from Turkey or with Grimaldi Shipping line from Southampton, or maybe joining their ship in Italy, for onward travel to Limassol.
